cDAQ Onboard Counter Not Synchronized With Digital Input in FlexLogger

Issue Details

When routing signals from a digital input module to the onboard counter on the CompactDAQ chassis the counter input isn't synchronized to the digital input module in FlexLogger

Solution

The onboard counters in FlexLogger cannot be synchronized to the digital or analog input channels in the chassis as the onboard counter currently uses the internal frequency clock, not the sample clocks from the modules. Because of this difference in sample clocks the timestamps from the counter position and the signals from other inputs will be not be exactly synchronized.

To synchronize counter input and analog or digital input the recommended solution is to use an NI-9361 counter input module.
