Data Record AD Must Be Removed For FlexLogger Installation

Issue Details

I have Data Record AD installed and I want to use FlexLogger in parallel, but NI Package Manager requires me to remove Data Record AD.

I see the following message in NI Package Manager:

Data Record AD must be removed to install Flexlogger 
Allow removal of the following packages to proceed
The Packages below are not part of your original selection.
Data Record AD

Solution

Data Record AD and FlexLogger share some core dependencies and this message is preventing a conflict from occurring if you install differing versions of those dependencies.
  • Install FlexLogger first and then Data Record AD.
  • Use a different machine or virtual machine for each software.
  • If using FlexLogger only for TDMS viewing, use a different viewing software to view your TDMS files.
