Using Lagarith Lossless Codec in LabVIEW with IMAQ AVI2 Create VI

This article describes how to use Lagarith Lossless Codec (External) with the AVI palette of LabVIEW. Though the IMAQ AVI2 Get Codec Names VI is not able to detect the "Lagarith Lossless Codec" it is still possible to use the codec in LabVIEW.

Instead of using the IMAQ AVI2 Get Codec Names VI you need to wire a string constant with the codec name Lagarith Lossless Codec to the Codec input of the IMAQ AVI2 Create VI .

Now you opened a working AVI session you can use for recording your video.
