Issue Details

I need to perform thermal analysis with CAD software on my system that contains NI hardware. Where can I find the 3D CAD model of the hardware?
 

Solution

You can usually find 3D CAD models of NI hardware on the dimensional drawings page. This page provides documents in a variety of file formats that are compatible with most commercial third-party CAD software.

Note: 3D CAD models are not available for all NI products. If a 3D model is unavailable for a particular product, NI provides 2D dimensional drawings when available, which can be used to create a custom 3D model in third-party CAD software.
