LabVIEW Goes Into Not Responding State on the Splash Screen

Issue Details

I am trying to open LabVIEW 2017 but it opens up the getting started window after which it goes into a not responding state until I kill it from the task manager. Why is this happening?


Follow the below steps to resolve this issue:
  • Open NI License Manager
  • Click on the Network Licenses option at the top of the window.
  • Check if there is any Volume License server configured which is no longer active.
  • Remove the inactive Volume license server¬†from the License manager.
  • Restart your LabVIEW software.
