TestStand is Ignoring the User Privileges

Issue Details

  • I'm using a user.ini file to limit the privileges of certain accounts but they still have the privileges
  • The operators can edit the sequence
  • You can hit the cancel button on the login and you will still be able to edit sequences

Solution

  • If you edit the users.ini file then you have to restart TestStand in order for it to take effect.
  • Verify that the Check User Privileges is enabled:
    • It is located at configure/ Station Options/ User Manager
