To Convert Thermocouple (TC) Measurement Data into Other TC Type

Issue Details

  • I measured the temperature by selecting the wrong type of thermocouple. I can't retry this test. Can I convert the logged data into the measurement with the right type?
  • I took a measurement with K type thermocouple task using T type thermocouple sensor. I want to find a way to recalculate the logged data by the built-in formula in the temperature task. 

Solution

You could convert the measurement with the following example. Please note that you can't perfectly convert the measurement without an exact CJC log. This is because the resulting temperature value is calculated from the built-in cold-contact compensation sensor value.
