PCI-DIO-96 Unable to Be Recognized by Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy)

Issue Details

I have installed compatible Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) on my computer to detect PCI-DIO-96 in NI MAX and able to detect without issues. But after installing NI-DAQmx in the same system, Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) unable to recognized PCI-DIO-96 in NI MAX.

Solution

To resolve this issues, you can try the method listed below:
  1. If you have recently installed new NI software, drivers, or hardware, restart your operating system (OS).
  2. Try install PCI-DIO-96 in different PCI slots.
  3. Reinstall/Repair Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) driver.

  • Connect your PCI-DIO-96 to another computer. Make sure this computer has the correct drivers installed.
  • If you have another PCI-DIO-96 that is connecting correctly, try using it on this same computer to see if the issue persists with the computer or with the device.
