Migration to LabVIEW Warning When Migrating an Inspection From NI Vision Builder AI

  • Vision Development Module
  • Vision Builder for Automated Inspection

Issue Details

I am using NI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection 2018 or later to create an inspection then convert it into LabVIEW code and insert it into my LabVIEW project.
When I try to convert it the following message appears:

Migrating an inspection to LabVIEW allows you to generate LabVIEW VIs for a Vision Builder AI inspection. You can then use the LabVIEW development environment to modify the inspection or integrate the inspection into other  automation or production test applications.

This feature requires LabVIEW 2018 or later (of the same bitness of Vision Builder AI) and the Vision Development Module 2018 or later, which are not available on this machine.

This message appears if you do not have the relevant software (LabVIEW 2018 or later and/or Vision Development Module 2018 or later) installed on your computer or the bitness of your Vision Builder AI and LabVIEW is different.

Please make sure you have all the necessary software installed and are using the same bitness of Vision Builder AI and LabVIEW.

You can check the bitness of your software using NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) as described in the article below.
