The System Configuration (sysconfig) API Property Nodes are Broken in LabVIEW 20.0 SP1, French

Users of LabVIEW 2020 SP1 (French), that have VIs that use the System Configuration (sysconfig) Application Program Interface (API) Property Nodes, may see that they are broken.

The issue can be resolved in LabVIEW 2020 SP1 (French) by replacing the installed nisysapi.rc file, with the one attached to this Knowledgebase article. This issue is corrected for the next major release of LabVIEW (French). 

  1. Download the file nisysapi - fixed.rc.
  2. Rename the file nisysapi.rc.
  3. Replace the file "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW [version]\resource\objmgr\nisysapi.rc" with the new version.
  4. Start LabVIEW.
  5. Open the example 'Show All Hardware.vi', located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2020\examples\nisyscfg" to test for correct functionality.

The sysconfig API should function correctly, once the file is updated.
