Solution
Before installing any NI software on a Windows PC, please make sure you follow the steps below:
- Ensure you're logged on with an account with Administrator privileges.
- Run the installer as Administrator.
- Disable all virus protection software and firewalls.
- Try installing the software on a different computer to verify if it's only one PC or if something in the network setup is affecting all PCs.
- Try installing the Offline Installers instead of the normal installer.
This issue is not specifically related to NI software installers but is more a Windows Security blockage. We highly recommend talking to your IT department to help you configure the right settings on your network and PC.
