I have a cRIO-9066 running NI Linux Real-Time OS. I would like to connect my USB-8502 CAN Interface Device to the USB Device Port on the cRIO and use the CAN nodes in my Real-Time VI. Is it supported?
USB-850x CAN interface devices require NI-XNET driver. Although the NI-XNET driver is compatible with Linux RT, VxWorks and Phar Lap OS, USB-850x devices are only compatible with Windows based systems. So you cannot connect a USB-850x to the USB port of a PXI, CompactRIO or a CompactDAQ controller running a Real-Time Operating System.
