Almost Done Message in NI Activation Wizard When Connecting to License Server

Issue Details

  • I try to activate my NI software by connecting to the license server of my company.
  • At the end of the activation wizard, I am provided with the following message.

  • What additional server-side settings does my administrator need to configure?
 

Solution

This message is indicating that the local NI License Manager could find and connect to the license server, which you entered in the activation wizard, and does not necessarily indicate, that your administrator needs to configure additional settings for you to work.

To check, if you need to contact your administrator, you can check the Product Summary tab or the Network Licenses tab, ​​​​and control, that all software you need is marked as licensed.
