Issue Details

When I try to build an installer using the LabVIEW Application Builder, it pops up a message with the following information: "Some installers you selected for this installer are not available on this computer. The preselected media below contain the required installers". The specific installer it is missing is the VI Packager Manager Runtime Engine. How do I fix this issue so that I can build my installer? The message should look similar to the image below:

Solution

This type of message shows up because there are software installer dependencies that are missing for the build. To fix the issue please follow these steps:

1. Remove the JKI VI Package Manager using the NI Package Manager.
2. Delete the VI Package Manager folder located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\JKI"
3. Install the VI Package Manager and reboot the computer.
4. Open the LabVIEW project and rebuild the installer.
