NI PXIe-8523 Module LED Turn Red

Issue Details

When I install PXIe-8523 into MXI controlled chassis, the LED on PXIe-8523 module's board turns red. While the LED is red, no setting is available on NI MAX to adjust PXIe-8523 as the X-NET driver cannot recognize the module.

Solution

The LED is a fatal error LED from onboard PCIe switch. This might be caused due to MXI enumeration issue if the LED do not light up when working with NI PXI Real-Time Controller, but only light up when connected with host computer through MXI.
