Runtime Engine Not Found When Building Installer for Executable

Issue Details

I want to include a particular runtime engine installer when building installer for an executable but unable to find it. I have checked that the runtime engine is installed using NI-MAX.

The items listed under the Runtime engine field did not show any in the Select Source dialog.

Solution

It is possible that sometimes the runtime engine(s) could have been installed in another location besides the designated location. If the runtime engine have been installed properly, it will be shown in the installer properties under Installer Source Location item.

To rectify the location of the runtime engine properly,

Repair the related package in NI software using NI Package Manager. Refer to Repair Software In NI Package Manager (NIPM).
Uninstalling NI software using NI Package Manager. Refer to Uninstall NI Software or Drivers Using NI Package Manager.
Manually uninstall NI software from PC OS and re-installing it again after downloading from NI website.
