ERROR: Insufficient PCI Resources When Using GE cPCI-5565PIORC

Issue Details

When I boot my PXIe controller which natively supports Thunderbolt™ port in a PXIe chassis with GE cPCI-5565PIORC module, I get the following message in the BIOS:
Error: Insufficient PCI resources detected

Solution

Both GE cPCI-5565PIORC and Thunderbolt™ are requesting significant amount of memory resources from BIOS. As a workaround, you can disable the Thunderbolt™ port in the BIOS of the PXIe controller: Advanced Setup Menu >> Thunderbolt Configuration >> Thunderbolt Support >> Disable.
