Can the Analog Input Command Scaling of an AKD Be Set in SoftMotion?

Issue Details

I am communicating with a Kollmorgen AKD using the LabVIEW SoftMotion Module and an NI-9514/16 Drive Interface Module. I can set the Analog Input Command Scaling for the signal coming from the 9514/16 manually in Kollmorgen Workbench, but would like to do this programmatically - is it possible to do this using the LabVIEW SoftMotion Module?

Solution

This property cannot be set using the LabVIEW SoftMotion Module, as this property is not exposed to control via the drive interface module. In order to programmatically edit this property, you'd need to set it using Ethernet/IP or EtherCAT communication directly to your AKD. Depending on the opmode of your AKD and motor, you'd need to set one of the properties specified below - NI recommends reaching out to Kollmorgen for guidance on setting up code to set the appropriate value programmatically.
