"The System Cannot Find the File Specified" Error When Running an Installer

Issue Details

I am running an installer on a target computer and I get the following error message:

The <NI Software> installation has failed with the following error: The system cannot find the file specified.

Solution

This error can be solved by running the Installer from a different path. It is suggested that you copy the installer files to a directory with a shorter path than the one from which it is causing the error.

Additional Information

This error can occur when running an installer created with LabVIEW, LabWindows™/CVI™ or other NI software.
