Error 1073807343 When Running LabVIEW Executable

Issue Details

When using a 3rd party instrument, my LabVIEW build executable/installer works as expected on my development environment, but not on my test machine. I receive the following error code:

Error -1073807343 occurred at XXXXX VI

Possible reason(s):
Unknown status code

Solution

  1. Check that the IVI Compliance Package is installed. This is required for some plug and play drivers for 3rd party instruments and will need to be included in an installer. See this article for creating a distributable installer with 3rd party software here under the LabVIEW section.
  2. Check that other drivers like NI-VISA, NI-Serial, or 3rd party cable drivers are included, installed, and compatible with current version of LabVIEW.
