Is It Possible to Share a Dashboard in SystemLink 2020 With Everyone?

Issue Details

  • In previous SystemLink versions, I used to have dashboards shared with "Everyone", but after upgrading to SystemLink 2020 R4 I couldn't find that option. Is this possible in the latest SystemLink version?

Solution

  • The option of sharing a dashboard with "Everyone" was removed in SystemLink 2020 R2. Additionally, starting on SystemLink 2020 R3, the existing DataFinder privileges do not migrate when upgrading from a previous version.
  • In the latest SystemLink version, you'll need to use the Security application to Assign Users to Roles in a Workspace in order to grant access to users to a specific dashboard.
