Empty LabVIEW Enum Indicator After Changing it to Silver Style

Issue Details

  • I have an Enum saved as a Type Definition in LabVIEW, but I want to have all controls and indicators of the front panel with silver style. When I try to replace the classic indicator for the silver style one, the indicator is shown as empty and the Enum options are not visible.

  •  How do I update the indicator of a Type Definition  Enum to another style?

Solution

In order to change the style of a Type Definition indicator, you need first to update the icon style inside the Type Definition. After that, you can change the style of the indicator at the main front panel.
