I am using the Open FPGA VI Reference function in LabVIEW to run a bitfile on my RT target. I would like to set an specific timeout for this function, how can I do this?

Solution

There is no way to define a specific timeout for this function. However, there are some workarounds that you can consider:

Set up a TCP connection.
Open a VISA session.
Use a ping command to detect if your RT target is available:
