Unknown Error 0x80020009 Using TDM Excel-Add In

Issue Details

I am using the Write to TDMS functions in LabVIEW with the word "History" or "history" as a group name. The resulting TDMS file is unusable by the TDMS Add-In in Excel tool. When trying to import the file, the following error occurs:
TDMS Importer: unknown error 0x80020009

Solution

This is a known issue. To overcome the error, do not use "History" or "history" as a group name when using the TDMS Add-In in Excel with the TDMS file.
