The attribute of a product consists of characteristics that define and distinct the product from others of the same category. Brightness, contrast and sharpness are examples of camera attributes. This article will address how to access a camera's attribute in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).

To access the camera's attributes:
  1. Launch NI MAX.
  2. Select the camera which you would like to see the attributes under Devices and Interfaces tab.
    • If the camera is connected directly to the PC: My System>>Devices and Interfaces.

    • If the camera is connected to an embedded device: Remote Devices>>[Your device]>>Devices and Interfaces.
