Is It Possible to Automatically Deactivate Licenses Using the CMD?

Issue Details

I want to deactivate a computer license or serial number using the cmd instead of manually going into the NI License Manager to automate the process on multiple computers or on my own.

Solution

On NI License Manager 4.7 and below, it is not possible to run a command in the cmd to deactivate a product. To deactivate a license in the NI License Manager you will have to manually follow these steps:
  • In the NI License Manager, click the Local Licenses section.
  • Select the product you want to deactivate.
  • Right-Click and select Deactivate.
  • In the Deactivate dialog box, click Yes.
