Issue Details

I have a GPIB device and I would like to establish communication with my cRIO 9045. How can I do this?
 

Solution

Since CompactRIO modules don't support the 488.2 driver, there is not a simple way to read GPIB on these devices. If you want to add a GPIB interface to your cRIO you could use a GPIB-RS232 converter with the RS232 serial port integrated in your CompactRIO system.
 

Additional Information

Communication between cRIO systems and GPIB devices cannot be achieved using GPIB-ENET/1000, GPIB-USB-HS or GPIB-USB-HS+ interfaces as they are not supported in LabVIEW Real-Time.
