Issue Details

I have downloaded a new firmware version for my NI NFC device from the download center. How do I apply this firmware update to my device?

Solution

You can use MPManager's FIRMWARE UPDATE feature to upgrade your firmware. Once you have downloaded the zip file of the firmware version you would like to target, first unzip it to a file location of your choice. Then use the following steps:
  1. Connect to your device in MPManager
  2. Click on the Firmware Update tab.
  3. Click on Open Update Package and load the firmware you have previously unzipped.
  4. Click on the Update button :
 

Additional Information

Note that this information applies to MP500, MP300, and CTS II devices. There is a different process for updating CTS II firmware.
