How to Install NI-VISA Server on an Offline Machine That Already Has VISA

Issue Details

I have the offline installer .iso file for NI-VISA. I want to install the NI-VISA Server in my offline machine that already has installed NI-VISA, but when I open the .iso file and try to run the Install.exe I get the message:

No operation to be performed

Solution

If you have the .iso file that was downloaded from ni.com, to install an additional item as the NI-VISA Server you can go to the pool folder in the .iso file and look for the package that you want to install. In this case NI-VISA Server. Once you open the corresponding .nipkg file NI Package Manager will launch and start the installation.
