If your InsightCM Server enters a corrupted state, it may be necessary to reinstall InsightCM. InsightCM Server includes third-party software, which must be uninstalled to ensure a successful reinstallation. The steps below are valid for all InsightCM Server 3.X installations.
Use the National Instruments Software installer to remove InsightCM Server and any InsightCM toolkits. Unselect "Products only" to display all InsightCM toolkits in the list. Reboot when prompted.
Uninstall RabbitMQ Server.
Uninstall Erlang OTP 19 (8.2).
Remove the InsightCM MongoDB service by running the following command with an administrator command prompt: > sc delete NI_InsightCM_MongoDB
To fully wipe InsightCM from the server, remove the InsightCM program files and data storage directories. If you do not want to lose your data and configured InsightCM settings, do not delete these folders. By default, these are in the following locations, respectively: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\InsightCM Server 3.0\ C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\InsightCM Server 3.0\
Reinstall InsightCM Server as administrator.
