How to Disable LabVIEW Web Servers

Issue Details

There are web servers that are automatically installed with LabVIEW. I want to prevent installation of these web servers, or uninstall these web servers without uninstalling LabVIEW. How do I do this?

Solution

 
  1. Ensure that you have NI Package Manager installed.
  2. Download the below attachment:
    • For LabVIEW 2020 and newer: 
      • ni-lv-web-server-blocker_21.0.0.0-0+d0_windows_all.nipkg
    • For LabVIEW 2019: 
      • ni-lv-web-server-blocker_19.0.0.49152-0+f0_windows_all.nipkg
  3. Install the package by double-clicking the download.

If LabVIEW has already been installed, this package will remove the web servers. If you have not yet installed LabVIEW, this package will prevent installation of the web servers when LabVIEW is installed.
