Issue Details

I compiled my FPGA project and I have no error when launching it.
My Real-Time VI is executing normally but I have to manually download the FPGA VI on the project tree in order to launch it.
How can I automatize this process?

Solution

You have to open the FPGA Reference in order to launch the FPGA VI.
This has to be done using theĀ Open FPGA VI Reference Function.

This reference also has to be opened before initiating communication between Real-Time VI and FPGA VI.

Additional Information

The Open FPGA VI Reference function does not affect the FPGA VI if the FPGA VI is already downloaded and running.
