Issue Details

I am acquiring vibrations signal using NI 9234 with FlexLogger™. I would like to calculate Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) in calculated channel.

Is it possible?

Solution

No it is not possible.
In calculated channel formula you can only use standard math operators, functions, and constants to customize existing hardware channels in the system. Refer to the Calculation Formula Options to know which formula formats you can use to configure a calculated channel.

Instead, it is possible to calculate FFT on channel in the Screen section using the FFT Graph
