Issue Details

I have an application developed in a version of LabWindows/CVI older than 2011.
I am using some functions from the Low Level Driver and when I try to compile my project those functions are not recognized.
I've read in the LabWindows/CVI help that the low-level support driver is not supported on 64-bit systems. Only applications running with administrator privileges on 32-bit systems can load the low-level support driver.
I am using a 64-bit system, which functions should I use then?

Solution

If you use some of these functions:
  • inp
  • inpw
  • inpd
  • outp
  • outpw
  • outpd

You should use the driver NI-VISA

Additional Information

If you use some of these functions:
  • ReadFromPhysicalMemory
  • ReadFromPhysicalMemoryEx
  • WriteToPhysicalMemory
  • WriteToPhysicalMemoryEx
  • MapPhysicalMemory
  • UnMapPhysicalMemory
