Can I use a 3rd party OPC Server instead of NI OPC Server to communicate with NI Lookout?

Yes, you can use third-party OPC Servers with NI Lookout.  Below are the steps to do so:
  1. New Process >> New Object >> Driver >> OPC Client
  2. In the Create OPC Client window, select your desired OPC Server from the drop-down menu in the Server Name field.
  3. Fill out the other sections of the Create OPC Client window as needed and click OK.
