I want to be able to password protect my network NI device. How do I do this?

To configure your device's log in capabilities,
1. Launch NI MAX
2. Select your network device
3. Click the "Login" button.
Username: admin
4. Click the "Set Permissions" button
This will launch an Internet Explorer Browser. (This page can also be reached by pasting the IP address of your device directly into the address bar of your Internet Explorer browser. You can find your IP address listed in NI MAX)
5. On the left-hand side of the screen there are three tabs, the middle of which is "Security Configuration"
6. Under the "Users" tab, there is a "User Name" and a "Comments" tab. Immediately beneath this, you can select "Change Password" to create a password other than the default "no" password.
7. Additionally, on the left side of the users tab, there is a + tab, which creates the option to add new user profiles.
