Issue Details

I am trying to use a USB camera with my sbRIO and a USB hub but the picture I am getting in MAX is distorted.

Solution

To use a USB camera with an sbRIO the camera must be USB 3 compliant, with backwards compatibility for USB 2.

If you are using a USB hub then make sure that it USB 2 compliant.

Additional Information

It is not enough to have just backward compatibility, for example a USB 3 hub being compatible with USB 2. This is because the hub can communicate with the sbRIO via USB 2, but with the camera via USB 3. As USB 3 can handle more data, this can overwhelm the USB 2 link between the hub and the sbRIO.
