Veristand Error -307660 Timeout Occurred While Deploying a New System Definition File

Issue Details

I get the following error while deploying my VeriStand project: 
The VeriStand Gateway encountered an error while deploying the System Definition file.

Details:
Error -307660 occurred at Project Window.lvlib:Project Window.vi >> Project Window.lvlib:Command Loop.vi >> NI_VS Workspace ExecutionAPI.lvlib:NI VeriStand - Connect to System.vi

Possible reason(s):

NI VeriStand:  Timeout occurred while deploying a new system definition file.

NI VeriStand:  NI VeriStand Gateway.lvlib:VeriStand Server Wrapper.vi >> NI VeriStand Server.lvlib:NI VeriStand Server.vi

 

Solution

This error occurs when the VeriStand Engine has timed out and is unresponsive to a deployment request.
  1. Try rebooting your target either with a hard power reset or using Restart in NI Measurement and Automation Explorer.

  1. This error is also fixed by reformatting your cRIO or PXI and then reinstalling software, including the VeriStand Engine. This should be performed if a restart is not successful.
