Issue Details

After installing Vision Acquisition Software 18.5, I can no longer see the Vision Acquisition Software (VAS) express VI in my LabVIEW palette.

Solution

This is a known issue in VAS 18.5 with LabVIEW 2015, 2016 or 2017 where the menus and supporting folders for the Vision Acquisition Express VI are missing. There are two solutions depending on the LabVIEW version you are using.

LabVIEW 2016 or newer
The issue was fixed on VAS 19.0, which is only supported on LabVIEW 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. If you are using any of these versions of LabVIEW the recommended solution is to go ahead and install VAS 19.0
