Issue Details

  • When I use┬áDesktop Trace Execution Toolkit it seems to miss calls on the execution trace list. Why is this?
  • I used Desktop Trace Execution Toolkit to trace my application both executed inside the LabVIEW Development Environment, and executed as a compiled application. When I compare these two traces, I notice that in the former many VI calls are missing. How can I fix that?

Solution

By default, LabVIEW Desktop Execution Trace Toolkit (DETT) excludes VIs inside LabVIEW's vi.lib. This applies to all VIs in this folder, no matter if they were originally shipped, are part of add-ons or 3rd-party packages, or if you copied them into this folder manually.

Follow these steps to include all vi.lib items:
  1. In DETT, click the upper part of the Capture Settings button:
  1. Select the category VIs and check Include VIs in vi.lib, then click OK.
