Solution

There are two different versions for Multisim Academic: the Multisim Education Edition and Multisim Student Edition. Both versions are installed using the NI Circuit Design Suite Education installer. If you are a professor and would like to acquire the Multisim Education edition refer to Multisim Education Edition. For the Multisim Student Edition refer to the information below:

• NI no longer sells the Multisim Student Edition. 
• You can access a free trial for up to 45 days by downloading the NI Circuit Design Suite Education Edition. 
• Students can purchase NI Circuit Design Suite - Multisim Edition - Student Edition through Studica, available for US and Canada only.

If you have purchased a Multisim Student Edition or NI Circuit Design Suite license from Studica, open the NI-License Manager software after installing the Circuit Design Suite Education edition and follow the Single-Seat License Activation Process to activate your software.
