Is It Possible to Convert a Video on the Fly to H264 Codec?

Issue Details

I have a GigE Camera (for instance FLIR backfly color) and I want to convert on the fly my image of raw data pixel by pixel (represented as integer).

Solution

Unfortunately officially H264 compression is not supported by the IMAQdx drivers. So the only way to figure it out a solution is:

Use a third party software(for instance Handbrake) recalled in Labview, in order to make the conversion of the all recorded file in H264
Use this example program based on VLC Media Player's .dll and .NET
Use this third party toolkit that can help you on different other codecs(i.e. mpeg4).

If these tips don't help at all:

Find or create a new dll and install it.
Use IMAQ AVI2 Get Codec Names VI to see if it is correctly installed
Use IMAQ AVI2 Create VI to create a new AVI with that codec
