Why Can I Not Set an IP Address in MAX in an IVI Driver Session?

Issue Details

I'm trying to set the IP address in an IVI driver session in NI MAX, but I am unable to get the value to remain.


There is likely a reference to that resource being held by another program. Follow these steps to resolve this:

1. Go into Task Manager and close programs that could be associated with the IVI driver (i.e. TestStand)
2. Restart the machine
3. Uncheck the box for the device in Driver Sessions (Rescource Descriptor)
4. Change the IP address
5. Check the box for the device in Driver Sessions
6. SaveĀ 
7. Close
