Downloading the NI-IMAQ and NI-IMAQdx Drivers

Issue Details

I am trying to download the NI-IMAQ and/or the NI-IMAQdx driver but cannot find these on NI's download page. How can I download these drivers?

Solution

To download these drivers, please search for the Vision Acquisition Software (VAS) package. VAS includes NI-IMAQ, NI-IMAQdx, and NI-IMAQ I/O driver sets that serve different vision application purposes as you can see in the Does My Camera Use NI-IMAQ, NI-IMAQdx or NI-IMAQ I/O? article. After running the VAS installer, you will be given the option to choose which of the drivers you want to install.

Additional Information

In various NI Package Manager versions, the NI-IMAQdx driver is available as a separate installer in the Browse Products tab, as shown below. The only exception is NI Package Manager version 20.6 where the Browse Products tab was removed and you had to download the installer from the Software and Driver Downloads page.
