Exception CmxExecutionThreadPool::DoWorkNonUI in NI MAX

Issue Details

Every time I try to open NI Measurement & Automation Explorer I get the following exception: CmxExecutionThreadPool::DoWorkNonUI
 

Solution

This usually indicates a corruption of the NI-DAQmx driver installation. This can be corrected by upgrading to any compatible version of NI-DAQmx or by performing a force reinstallation of NI-DAQmx
  • To upgrade the current version of NI-DAQmx follow the instructions presented in this guide
  • To perform force reinstall use the following instructions:
    1. Obtain installation files. These can be found on disk or downloaded from the NI website: Download NI-DAQmx Driver .
    2. Run force reinstall as described in Force Reinstall NI Software from the Command Prompt in Windows .
  • If the previous steps didn't resolve the issue, perform a clean installation of Windows on the computer to avoid any corruption on additional NI software.
