FTP Download Troubleshooting Suggestions

Issue Details

When downloading files using the National Instruments FTP server, the file sizes are often large, resulting in a time-consuming download process. Please try the following suggestions if the download will not complete.


  • If the download process doesn't start, or it stops prematurely, there may be a problem with National Instrument's server. Please wait briefly and try again.
  • If the download doesn't start, your company's network access may be limited. Please contact your IT administrators to confirm that you have access to FTP.
  • If neither of the above options work, please contact the NI Technical Support representative with whom you are exchanging files.
