FRC CTRE Phoenix Tuner Loses Connection to the roboRIO

Issue Details

I participate in the 2019 FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and I am using the Cross the Road Electronics (CTRE) can devices. However, when I open the Phoenix Tuner software, I get an error saying:

Lost Comm, trying to reconnect to http://172.22.11.2:1250
 

Solution

  1. Make sure your roboRIO is correctly detected by your computer. More information here: Unable to Connect to roboRIO In LabVIEW or Driver Station
  2. Make sure your roboRIO is correctly imaged with the newest FRC version.
  3. Make sure there is no anti-virus and/or firewall blocking the communication between the roboRIO and the Phoenix software.
  4. Run the Phoenix software as administrator.
