The LabWindows/CVI SMTP library does not natively support SMTP authentication. However, you can do this by using the .NET SmtpClient class. You will need to generate a CVI/.NET wrapper for the .NET library, then call into that library from LabWindows/CVI. Some details are outlined in this community forum post.
There is a post about adding native user authentication in LabWindows/CVI in our Idea Exchange forums, which is where customers provide suggestions to R&D for features they'd like to see in future releases. If you are interested in this, please give a Kudo to the post so that NI can track interest.
