Use Different Language Version of LabVIEW in a Computer

Issue Details

• Is it possible to use a different language version of LabVIEW than what I initially purchased, and can I install multiple versions at once in a computer?
• I have only installer for English version of LabVIEW, can I install other language version of LabVIEW in my computer? How to install that?

Solution

If your LabVIEW is later than version 8.0, you are allowed to install and activate different language version of LabVIEW than what you have initially purchased. For example, if you purchase Japanese version of LabVIEW, you are permitted to activate Simplified Chinese, English, French, German, or Korean version of LabVIEW 32-bit, in addition to LabVIEW 64-bit that only supports English. However, please note the following points:
 

• All LabVIEW users are required to follow General Purpose Software License Agreement.
• You can only install one language instance of a particular LabVIEW version. This restriction comes from LabVIEW's specification as multiple language instances of the same LabVIEW version cannot coexist on the same PC. Please note that this restriction does not apply across different bit versions of LabVIEW. For example, you are able to install Japanese version of LabVIEW 2018 32-bit and English version of LabVIEW 2018 64-bit on the same PC.

LabVIEW downloads now include all supported languages. You can choose the language you want to use during the setup process.
