Is VirtualBench IVI Compliant?

Issue Details

Can I use IVI blocks to control the virtual bench? It seems like most of the elements could be IVI compatible, but I don't see how to select it from the Resource Descriptor in the driver sessions such as that for NI-SCOPE.

VirtualBench is not IVI-compliant, nor is it supported by NI modular instruments drivers such as NI-SCOPE. You should be able to automate VirtualBench using the VirtualBench API in LabVIEW.

Additional Information

VirtualBench does not operate with each of the MI drivers in part due to the resulting need for installation of numerous MI drivers upon setup depending on the VB model and logic therein (ex. NI-SCOPE + NI-DMM + NIDCPower + NI-FGEN, etc.), which could potentially detract from the ease of use of VirtualBench.  A great resource for more information on how programming the VirtualBench can be achieved is here: How to Automate VirtualBench in LabVIEW
